Crossover with “Grand Mother & Her Ghost”
The cutting of this trouser is the final outcome of deforming and reshaping a formal suit trousers together with a casual pants. The position and width of the pleats on the trousers are established after many experiments and continuous refitting,, so that the wearer can style it in the best ratio and fit. Matched with our meticulous sewing of the trousers, the ingenious curve is drawn into the trousers at a slight angle which makes the front look more three-dimensional and stylish. The two pleats on the back of the trousers can also modify the hip lines. No matter whether it is worn by males or females, it can achieve the effect of increasing height and slimness. In addition to wearing the trousers with a suit jacket, it is also recommended that you can slightly use the stitches below the bottom of the trousers as a benchmark, and roll up two or three folds to present a more casual and Yuppie style.
The print is a collaboration with famous Taiwan animation “Grand Mother & Her Ghost”, characters from the movie such as Kuro (the cat), Xiaobian (the snake), Apple (the soul of a little girl holding a doll) are used as elements in the print. By paying tribute to the film editing technology “Montage”, characters are combined with handwritten brushstrokes, which can be seen in the local folk beliefs in Taiwan, in a collage method to create a full and colorful print.
